Ammunition Storage

Ammunition Storage

Defencell structures are completely non-metallic, removing the risk of secondary shrapnel, spall or compass and RF interference. Storage systems of such kind are ideal for the construction of structures surrounding, or in close proximity to, ammunition and bomb storage.

Defencell has been field-proven in high-risk operational zones, notably at Camp Bastion and Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan, where it was used to build protective walls surrounding Ammunition Supply Points. These barriers, constructed in 2006, have withstood extreme conditions and recent inspections have shown minimal degradation in both their structural integrity and visual appearance, demonstrating their long-term durability and effectiveness.
